Nostalgia and feminine tones mark this season’s collection from claire.dk
This fall, claire.dk has taken inspiration from the 1920’s elegance, simplicity and the straight lines mixed with the modern jeans
trend and the darker, raw contrast look, which is combined with light, Nordic and fresh nature colours. The code in this winter’s
collection from claire.dk is controlled casualness and time’s stylish look.
Focus is on dresses and skirts with volume. A-line dresses and dresses with Empire-cut and pencil skirts with knee-length draping,
which is carried through by putting on a small blazer with three quarter sleeves. Men’s wardrobe’s cool and elegant attitude is seen
in white shirts – put together with ready-made trousers in exquisite wool fabric. The rawer look is obtained by contrasts between the
heavy and the light. Oversize heavy knit is mixed with light and slim silhouettes in chiffon and jacquard
as well as woven shirt fabric. There is a large selection within trousers; slim jeans, cigarette pants and width-jeans as well as
the classic Marlene Dietrich trousers.
Rustic cardigans, short or long, are matched nicely towards the many dresses and tops that are actual this season. Trousers and skirts
have volume and some have a high waist. The shirts vary from the slim look to the voluminous where the details on the sleeves very form
puff to pleating. The dresses play with different silhouettes, the well-known A-line from the sixties and the classic Empire look,
where the bust is marked by a fine cut under the breast.
This season the usual classical fabrics have developed.
claire.dk plays with boiled wool with yarn embroideries, permanent wool qualities and mini jacquards on the ready-made clothing. New
silhouettes
and avant-garde details are also to be found. In short, the classical wardrobe has got a breath of freshness and a brand new appearance.
A soft blazer (type) is shown. Boiled wool with large hole-pattern
is combined with rib qualities. A feminine look appears on jackets in boiled wool, but where the surface is blond, a very pretty
contrast. Wool, silk and cashmere are mixed in woven and knitted fabric, which is transferred to the silhouettes marking the different
stories. The feminine twenties, the raw jeans look and the Nordic fresh look.
The colours in this winter’s collection are dominated by black and grey shades, although classics like cream and brown are still obvious
as contrast to the many grey tones. The colours are not forgotten, but toned a bit to more dark nuances of purple, bottle green and a
cheeky orange-red. The metallic colours gold, silver and cobber are used beautifully for accessories and decoration.
Claire.dk’s winter collection gives you the opportunity to combine fashion tendencies with the classic wardrobe.
