The constant urge for innovation, that has characterised the Sandwich concept for so many years,
was the guiding force in designing the Fall 08 Collection. Sandwich will surprise you with the results
of its designers utilising different qualities and lengths, using ultra soft materials and striking accent
colours.
The overall look is of a harmonious feeling with the use of warm and wintery fabrics, unusual new
silhouettes. These incorporate combinations of slim-cut trousers and voluminous tops, along with
shorts with long, chunky knitted jackets.
The styling of the trousers varies enormously, making for a wide range of different outlines, from
skinny to loose-fit. Special washings give the materials different textures and character, and make
them soft and comfortable. In addition to warm winter coats, the range includes new items such as
cosy jackets and tops with soft quilting and jersey, versions that can be worn both in and outdoors.
Wear several layers and combine them with a scarf and you’ll step into the fall knowing you’re
going to be both warm and stylish.
With its Casual and Special lines and a range of accessories, Sandwich offers you an all round
Collection for all dress occasions. The wide range of items will be split into three deliveries for both
Casual and Special. The items of the July delivery will be made of lighter weight fabrics such as
cotton and rayon crepe. The fabrics will become warmer during the course of August and
September, featuring more wool blends and chunky knits.

materials with relaxed silhouettes in black, mineral and grey melange – ideal for wearing while you
enjoy the delights of autumn in your relaxing home environment. Comfortable, simple and
fashionable at the same time!

This year’s range features some new elements: a vintage look, very wearable knitted tunic dresses,
reversible cardigans and short jackets with detachable ¾-length stretch sleeves. A wide variety of
lengths blurs the boundaries between dresses and tunics. In the prints, we note a shift in emphasis
to checks and stripes, linking different colours, though some materials still feature miniprints.
The subdued basic colour range of grey, mineral and coffee is enlivened by mustard, yellow, purple,
ruby and azure highlights and miniprints.
For festive occasions the Special line features clothes made of finer materials such as soft leather,
beautiful cotton sateen and crepe, finished with luxury details such as silk to create a very feminine
look. New are unusual layers in the silhouettes, and the use of supple materials to create drapey
effects and voluminous outlines. Prints enhance feminine, glamorous styles with a nostalgic touch.
The range of basic colours: grey, ivory, cream and black coffee are enlivened with faded pink,
purple, orange, ruby and blue highlights and the use of miniprints.
The items of the Casual line can be ideally combined with those of the Special range – the basic
colours are the same, but the many different colour accents enable you to create endlessly varying,
surprising and highly fashionable looks!
